Our Goals:
The goals of our club are rooted in the political and social values that we embrace as citizens of a democratic and multicultural society. These values include:
- The free and full participation of all citizens in the institutions of our democratic society.
- Social, economic and environmental justice for all.
- Equal opportunity in employment for all.
- Equal access to community resources, affordable housing, quality health care, and quality education.
- A safe community and healthy environment.
To promote these values, we:
- Advocate policies that would help to realize these values at local, state and national levels.
- Bring community members together to discuss relevant issues and concerns.
- Encourage fellow Democrats to join us in our work as members.
- Encourage and provide support for qualified Democrats to run for office and serve as community leaders.
- Carry out voter information and Get-Out-the-Vote campaigns.
- Provide supporters and members of the club with avenues for the public expression of their political and civic ideas and concerns.
